CALORIE TRACKER IS NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE. The app provides nutritional information and calorie estimates for informational purposes only. We are not medical professionals, and the content provided is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- Consult a Physician: Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider before starting any diet or exercise program.
- No Accuracy Guarantee: Nutritional data is sourced from third-party databases (Open Food Facts) and AI-driven OCR. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy. Always verify physical packaging.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Calorie Tracker ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. User Accounts & Guest Mode
- Guest Mode: Data is stored locally and linked to a transient Firebase Anonymous ID. Deleting App Data or uninstalling may result in permanent data loss.
- Authenticated Mode: Data is synced to Firebase for cross-device access.
3. Prohibited Use
You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer the nutrition-parsing backend or rely on the App for managing critical medical conditions where precise dosing is required (e.g., Type 1 Diabetes).
4. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GM APPS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or health-related damages resulting from your use of the App.
